Eyelit's Integrated Manufacturing Execution (MES) Software Selected by JSC Angstrem-T for Semiconductor Manufacturing Facility in Russia

TORONTO --(Business Wire)--

Eyelit Inc., a manufacturing software provider for visibility, control, and coordination of manufacturing operations for the aerospace & defense, discrete electronics, semiconductor, and photovoltaic (solar) industries, announced today that JSC Angstrem-T, a subsidiary of the Angstrem Group, has selected the Eyelit Semiconductor Edition™ MES suite for its wafer fab in Zelenograd, Moscow, Russia.

Angstrem-T is establishing its own research and production complex, and has upgraded its existing production plant to support the manufacturing of 200 mm wafers. The company selected Eyelit because it needed a cost-effective and scalable solution that could be deployed quickly with few consulting resources. SYSTEMA, Eyelit's business partner and experienced integrator in Europe, will provide local support and consultation services.

"After completing an extensive evaluation process, we determined that Eyelit's Semiconductor Edition provided the capability, ease of use, and low startup costs that we were looking for in an MES solution. We will be able to implement and maintain Eyelit's software with minimal dependence on the vendor's resources, which was not an option with other MES providers we reviewed," stated Mikhail Feldman, Manager of Public Relations at Angstrem-T. "Eyelit and SYSTEMA have extensive experience in providing manufacturing solutions for the semiconductor industry. We felt confident that they understood the challenges of our manufacturing environment and can provide the right expertise for the project."

"Eyelit has increasingly become the software of choice because of its low cost of ownership, and highly integrated modular architecture that provides the ability to manage complex operations," stated Dan Estrada, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing. "Eyelit continues its global expansion with the addition of new customers in three continents so far this year, one of which is Angstrem-T, our first customer in Rusia."
