Bangalore municipal team updates MCG software [Gurgaon] [Times of India]

(Times of India Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) GURGAON: An IT team from Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike visited the MCG citizen facilitation centre (CFC) on Thursday to suggest ways to improve the functioning of the civic body. The MCG has been facing difficulties in maintaining proper records and issuing certificates within the promised time.

According to officials, the two member team introduced new software to help the MCG to maintain property tax records. "The new software will help us in organizing all property related information in order. This will include information related to trade licence and other form of taxes. We will know how much tax has been paid by the owner and it will automatically calculate how much more needs to be paid," said an official. The authorities are also hoping that this initiative will help them increase their revenue.

Another team from the sanitation wing of the Bangalore municipal corporation is expected to visit the city this month to set up a plant to generate fuel from plastic waste.
