Patrick Grawehr is new General Counsel of the RUAG Group(ENP Newswire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) ENP Newswire - 04 July 2014 Release date- 03072014 - The Board of Directors of RUAG has appointed Dr Patrick Grawehr as the new General Counsel and a member of the extended Executive Board. A doctor of law, he has many years of experience as a company lawyer and has gained a sound knowledge of the sector from his positions in large Swiss industrial and technology companies. Patrick Grawehr will take up his new post as of 1 November 2014. Patrick Grawehr (50) has many years of experience in Swiss industrial and technology companies. He is currently Chief of Staff and Secretary to the Board of Directors of Kaba Group. He also manages the Group's HR, IT, Communications and Legal Group functions. Prior to this he worked for the Ascom Group for ten years, where his last position was that of General Counsel. In his role as General Counsel at RUAG, Patrick Grawehr will advise the RUAG Group in all legal and compliance matters. His core tasks will include cultivating shareholder relations, assisting the Board of Directors, and monitoring compliance and contracts. Patrick Grawehr holds a doctorate in law and is a practising lawyer. He obtained his first degree from the University of Fribourg, and his doctorate from the University of St. Gallen. He also holds a Masters degree (MLaw) from the University of Melbourne in Australia. Patrick Grawehr lives in Aarau, is married and has four children. The Board of Directors and Executive Board of RUAG are delighted to have acquired a skilled successor to follow on seamlessly from Thomas Kopp, and wish Patrick Grawehr an excellent start at RUAG.
