GEICO urges policyholders to take precautions against Hurricane Arthur

Strengthening as it moves up the East Coast, Hurricane Arthur is threatening North Carolina and Virginia with high winds, heavy rainfall and storm surge. With the worst weather expected on the Fourth of July, GEICO urges residents and holiday visitors along the coast to pay close attention to and follow local official instructions.

Joe Thomas, regional vice president in GEICO's Virginia Beach office, urges policyholders to take the necessary steps to protect themselves and their families.

GEICO policyholders can log onto GEICO's Claims Center, call 1-800841-3000 or use the new GEICO Mobile app to report a claim 24 hours a day. Commercial vehicle policy holders can file a claim by calling 1-866-509-9444.
