Eyelit Announces a 20% Increase in First-Quarter Revenues for 2014 from its Manufacturing Execution (MES) and Quality Management Software

TORONTO --(Business Wire)--

Eyelit Inc., a manufacturing software provider for visibility, control, and coordination of manufacturing operations for the aerospace & defense, discrete electronics, semiconductor, and photovoltaic (solar) industries, announced today its continued growth with a 20% increase in total revenues year over year in the first quarter of 2014.

Business Results

Eyelit continued its growth in the first quarter this year, increasing revenues by 20% over the revenues of the first quarter of 2013. Software license sales were 30% higher for the first quarter as compared to the same quarter in 2013. Regionally, Asia was the largest contributor to Eyelit's revenue increase. "We have already successfully migrated customers from WorkStream, PROMIS, and FactoryWorks MES systems, and have started a migration project from SiView MES to Eyelit MES. This is a major milestone, which demonstrates Eyelit's migration expertise in working with customers to replace legacy systems from the major providers of semiconductor MES," stated Dan Estrada, Eyelit's Vice-President of Sales and Marketing.

Product Updates

Eyelit is preparing the release of version 5.2 of its award-winning product suite to early adopters. The general release will be made available to he rest of its customers starting this fall. Significant enhancements have been added to the underlying platform and across all modules. The QMS module will include many significant features in its workflow engine, web-based GUI, and Discrepancy Material Reporting (DMR) quality-management capabilities. Updates to the Advanced Dispatching and Asset Management modules will introduce the ability to evaluate many new factors which affect productivity by using configurable rules. An expanded array of optional built-in calculations and rules will be featured in the existing MES data-collection functions and in the SPC module, which also includes enhanced alerting and reporting features. Extensions to the Special Processing/SWR (Experiment Management) module and corresponding extensions to the Recipe Management module will enable dynamic experimentation, including integration through closed-loop automation. The Operational Data Store (ODS) schema is being optimized to simplify and streamline reporting even further.
