Resolutions issued at IDB board meeting [Khaleej Times (United Arab Emirates)](Khaleej Times (United Arab Emirates) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) The 39th annual session of board of governors of the Islamic Development Bank, or IDB, concluded with a hopeful note in Jeddah. The event was attended by 56 Muslim states. It issued a number of resolutions in a communique, most notably the 10-year proposed strategy of the IDB. The board approved the re-appointment of Dr Ahmed Mohammed Ali as chairman of the IDB for another five years in office. It expressed satisfaction about the achievements of the IDB Group; the board of governors called for setting up a detailed plan to implement the strategy. Dr Ali praised the resolutions issued by the board of directors, which he said would further contribute to strengthening the existing cooperation among its members to serve the interests of Muslim states.
