India : BROCADE VYATTA PLATFORM announced [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Brocade has announced the Phase I of a multiyear action plan that delivers an open and modular networking platform for cloud and telecommunications service providers, called the Brocade Vyatta Platform. The Brocade Vyatta Platform is this open strategy's maiden articulation in the industry, supporting the build-out of both Application and Subscriber Clouds. The Brocade Vyatta Platform covers proven Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) and emerging Software-Defined Networking (SDN) technologies based on open standards and open source initiatives, embracing the needs outlined within the ETSI NFV ISG. The Brocade Vyatta Platform uses established core components, like the Brocade Vyatta vRouter and Brocade vADX products, in addition to the open source software projects like OpenDaylight and OpenStack.
