IndependenceIT Recognized by 451 Research for Private-Label Desktop-as-a-Service Enablement

The underlying technical model is server-based session computing, which avoids the licensing challenges surrounding VDI. It is also more efficient, more scalable and easier to manage.

With an expanded management team of industry veterans, IndependenceIT's booked seat increase in the first five months of 2014 is in excess of 330 percent and the company's partner ecosystem has increased more than 220 percent. New partners include Arrow Electronics (News - Alert), EarthLink, GCI and Verio. In 2014, the company expanded its position as the industry's only "Bring your Own Cloud" DaaS enabler with Microsoft Azure and Google Compute Engine integration.
