Sophos announces new territory manager for NEEMEA region [ITP.net (United Arab Emirates)]


(ITP.net (United Arab Emirates) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Cyber security company Sophos has announced the promotion of Thomas Thoelke to the new territory manager for Northern and Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa (NEEMEA).

In his new role, Thoelke will be responsible for recruiting and enabling Sophos partners in the NEEMEA region and to focus on establishing effective sales structures to support the growth of Sophos in the region.

Kris Hagerman, CEO of Sophos said: "Thomas Thoelke has demonstrated the ability to adjust to different cultures and partner requirements across a large and diverse number of countries.  He has been a key driver of our success in NEEMEA and brings a passion for performance and results with an ability to both start new businesses and effectively manage existing relationships." Thoelke, who was previously sales director for Eastern Europe and Nordics joined Sophos via Astaro, where he worked since 2008. He had served in sales positions in the distribution and reseller channel in Germany and Finland prior to that.
