China : AUTELAN and ACCURIS NETWORK partners to deliver Wi-Fi offload to APAC operators [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Accuris Networks has joined hands with Autelan, a Chinese-based Wi-Fi infrastructure provider. Jointly, both the firms Accuris and Autelan plan to deliver secure Wi-Fi offload to Chinese mobile operators like China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom and also carriers in the Asia-Pacific region and Africa. Operators will get to leverage Autelan's wireless access points and Accuris Networks' AccuROAM Wi-Fi offload platform, facilitating any type of Wi-Fi access technology to work as a full extension of cellular, GSM or CDMA networks for billing, policy and authentication, for use with data services and also for voice and messaging.
