United States : GFI SOFTWARE updates GFI CLOUD [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) As part of a key update to GFI Cloud, GFI Software is introducing new remote control and remote access capabilities. The firm's cloud-based IT management platform allows administrators to manage and secure servers, workstations, laptops and mobile devices from a single online user interface. The new addition of remote control in GFI Cloud is designed ot enable IT administrators to launch a safe remote support session and assume control of a computer from the same centralized online console. GFI Software Infrastructure Business Unit General Manager Sergio Galindo stated : "Desk-side visits are both time consuming and costly so having the ability to connect to and control a client in need of support remotely and form a single console can have a substantial positive impact on the cost of IT for smaller organizations, as well as helping reduce the workload of those charged with looking after IT within the company."
