UMobile's new unlimited postpaid plans offers free Internet roaming in certain countries [Mobile 88 Online (Malaysia)]

(Mobile 88 Online (Malaysia) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) uMobile has revised its postpaid packages to make way for unlimited Internet and call plans, and at the same time introduced free Internet roaming in several Asian countries.

The Unlimited 50 and Unlimited 80 plans, both of which will be 4G-enabled, will both offer unlimited Internet access and calls to uMobile numbers.

Unlimited Mobile Data, And How To Keep It "Unlimited" For RM50, you will receive 100 minutes of free calls to non-uMobile numbers, and high speed Internet will be capped at 2GB; for RM80, you will get 200 minutes of free calls to non-uMobile digits, 100 free SMSes (50 to uMobile and 50 to non-uMobile), and your high-speed Internet quota is 3GB.

Maxis Offers Unlimited Mobile Data Once the high-speed quota is used up, you can continue surfing the Internet at a slower speed. By the way, the entry-level U28 plan will also receive unlimited data, but the high-speed cap is set at 1GB and there are no unlimited calls.

But that’s not all: with these new postpaid plans you will also be able to access the Internet for free from Hong Kong, Singapore, Cambodia, the Phillipines, Thailand, and Taiwan- without having to subscribe to any Internet plan in that country. Apparently it will be unlimited too, but you might have to put up with slow Internet speeds depending on the country you’re in.
