CSC Names Gary Stockman Chief Marketing and Communications Officer

Stockman will be responsible for establishing and leading a global, integrated marketing communications group and advancing the company's brand, value proposition and competitive position with the company's key stakeholders. He will report to CSC President and Chief Executive Officer Mike Lawrie.

Prior to founding his own firm in 2013, Stockman served in senior management positions including global CEO and senior partner at Porter Novelli, one of the world's 10 largest public relations agencies. During his 12-year career at the firm, Stockman guided its leadership in social media and digital analytics, introduced innovative collaboration and engagement practices, and provided strategic counsel to a broad range of clients from startups to multinationals.
Throughout his career, Stockman has produced integrated programs for clients in technology, industry and consumer goods. Prior to Porter Novelli, Stockman was a partner at Silicon Valley technology communications firm Copithorne & Bellows. A former journalist, Stockman earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Rochester.
