Heartland Video Services selects Nevion's flexible, cost-effective CP505 Transport Stream Processors(Cision Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Purchase supports various regional TV station projects Oxnard, CA, 4 June 2014 – Media transport specialist Nevion (http://nevion.com/) today announced that US-based broadcast equipment provider Heartland Video Systems (http://www.hvs-inc.com/) (HVS) has deployed Nevion CP505 ATSC processors (http://nevion.com/products/processingmultiplexing/cp505) on several systems integration projects. HVS has been commissioned by local and affiliate TV stations including WGBH (http://www.wgbh.org/index.cfm), the Boston-based broadcaster, which is the largest provider of nationally distributed programming to PBS, and WKOW (http://www.wkow.com/), the ABC affiliate in Madison, WI. HVS opted for the Nevion CP505 transport stream processor because it offers local broadcasters a cost-effective solution for transport stream adaption and provides a high degree of flexibility, supporting seamless adaptation between ASI, SMPTE 310 and IP formats.
