In this role, James will lead SolidFire's worldwide marketing efforts, including corporate, product and field marketing as the company continues its aggressive growth trajectory. James will work collaboratively with SolidFire's executive leadership, engineering, and sales teams to develop and implement customer acquisition, expansion and retention strategies to drive sustained awareness of SolidFire's brand and revenue growth across its sales channels and markets worldwide. Prior to his tenure at West IP Communications, James was EVP of Sales and Marketing at Smoothstone IP Communications. Prior to Smoothstone, James was the Chief Marketing Officer at Savvis and he has held a variety of sales and marketing positions in Europe, Asia and the U.S. with Sun Microsystems, IBM, StorageTek and Standard Telephones and Cables (STC). James holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and management from Northumbria University.
