But here we can give you an exclusive peek into its future - and reveal that it's very bright indeed. tThis time last year Sony and Microsoft were gearing up for the first exchanges of a full-blown console war. Twelve months on the Japanese giant appears to have won the first battle - with the PS4 smashing PlayStation CEO Andrew House's ambitious target of five million sales by May 2014 by well over two million units. Tellingly, Microsoft hasn't revealed any official Xbox One sales figures since it broke the three million mark in January. Instead it is launching a cheaper version in June which doesn't utilise the Kinect 2.0 motion-sensing camera - the latest in a series of U- turns that have left the company with an increasingly neutered product.
