The telecommunications provider clinched a total of 15 awards since January this year, testifying to the company's groundbreaking and game-changing products and services.

Top of the list of Globe Telecom's growing achievements is a recent recognition by Telecom Asia as the Best Asian Telecom Carrier for its leadership in various areas that include innovation, business execution, financial performance, market leadership, corporate social responsibility and corporate governance. The 17th Telecom Asia Awards also hailed Globe Telecom's Google Free Zone campaign, as Most Innovative Telecom project. The award, which is given to a telecom project that has the biggest impact on the market, offered access to internet and select Google services on internet-enabled mobile phones without any data charges.

Globe also gained international recognition for pioneering innovative products and services after winning, in the Best Mobile Service category of the 19th Annual Global Mobile Awards, the Best Network-based Solution for Serving Customers Award for its Globe Prepaid GoSakto: Create Your Own Promo. According to judges, the GoSakto promo garnered the award because it delivered to the prepaid market innovative pricing features previously confined to the postpaid market, providing many Globe customers the ability to personalize their services tailored to their needs.

Globe Prepaid GoSakto also gained recognition at the first Asia Pacific Stevie Awards under the New Consumer Product of the Year (All Other Nations category). Globe won two more awards, to emerge as the winningest Philippine company in the Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards.
