Taqua Brings Next-Generation IP Networking Solutions to EMEA

Taqua (News - Alert)®, LLC, a leading global supplier of mobile and fixed core networking IP convergence systems and applications, announced today the opening of its new Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) headquarters in Darmstadt, Germany.

Taqua's expansion into the region allows the company to better serve operators as they look to deliver the latest in next-generation mobile voice and messaging services that leverage WiFi (News - Alert) networks while solving 2G/3G to 4G/LTE internetworking challenges.

The new operations will be led by Matthias Leisurs, who will serve as Vice President of Sales for EMEA. A seasoned telecom industry veteran, Mr. Leisurs has held various senior management positions in sales and marketing at leading companies including Hewlett-Packard, Vodafone-Arcor, Inet and Tekelec (now Oracle (News - Alert)).
