Ethernet Alliance Hosts Next IEEE P802.3™ / IEEE 802.1™ Joint Interim SessionBEAVERTON, Ore. --(Business Wire)-- The Ethernet Alliance, a global consortium dedicated to the continued success and advancement of Ethernet technologies today announced it will be hosting the next IEEE P802.3™ / IEEE 802.1™ joint interim session during the week of May 12, 2014. The event brings together IEEE (News - Alert) 802® task force, study group, and ad hoc members to discuss and further advance a diverse array of projects, including development of Ethernet's next speed, 400 Gigabit Ethernet (GbE).
