Arabtec Holding appoints new CFO [Construction Week (United Arab Emirates)](Construction Week (United Arab Emirates) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) UAE contractor Arabtec Holding has announced that it has appointed a new chief financial officer. Iyad Abdal Rahim joined the group as CFO of Arabtec Construction last year and has since embarked on a restructuring. He has 20 years of experience, working at companies including Standard Chartered Bank and interior fit-out contractor Depa. Abdulrahim also has experience of corporate restructuring, financing and managing IPOs, having worked with both the London Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq market. He will report directly to Arabtec Holding CEO Hasan Ismaik, who said: "A company's finance department is essential to its success, particularly in a company like ours that operates across multiple sectors and regions. I am very confident that he will continue to play a role in our senior management team, in which he will add great value in improving our methods for budget management."
