HRH Princess Sabeeka opens new +973 Artisanat [Bahrain News Agency](Bahrain News Agency Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Manama, Apr. 30. (BNA) – Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), has affirmed the importance of giving Bahraini youths, from both sexes, the opportunity to showcase their creativity and link it with national values in order to contribute effectively to building the kingdom's future. She explained that Bahraini youths represent the promising future of the country, calling for the need to enhance their effective participation in all national projects so as to be able to inform the world about Bahrain's landmark achievements. She said that confidence in the Bahrain youths' capabilities would encourage them to direct their skills and potentials in serving their country and promoting it and its long-standing history. She praised the efforts of all youth-related sides for their efforts to support youths, hone their creative skills and instill values of loyalty and belonging to the homeland among them. This came as she inaugurated at Juffair today the second edition of the Artisanat of the creative entrepreneur +973 (+973 Artisanat), an initiative that falls under the "Wehda Wahda" campaign. HRH Princess Sabeeka stressed the importance of continuous support for creative Bahraini youths in order to encourage them to be productive, produce Bahraini brands of their own that reflect the country's rich heritage and meet international standards. In this regard, she praised the support of the Industry and Commerce Ministry and Tamkeen for such a pioneering project. She was informed about the products showcased by Bahraini male and female participants, and briefed on ways of marketing them. Board Chairperson of the Mayasim Telecommunications Company Dr. Shaikha Mai Al-Otaibi expressed sincere thanks and gratitude to HRH Princess Sabeeka for patronising the opening ceremony of the second edition of the project, and supporting all social segments and encouraging them to be more creative and nation-serving ones. +973 Artisanat is an initiative to create a multibrand concept artisanat showcasing original developed Bahraini made products by independent craftsmen since 2012. The objective was to implement a youth empowerment initiative that aims to stimulate national entrepreneurship by harnessing local talent and building local brands. The "+973 Artisanat" serves as a permanent gallery for creative works and products by Bahraini youths. The gallery is expected to become a destination for Bahrain's citizens and visitors where they can see all kinds of unique and innovative Bahraini products such as works of art, handicrafts, sculptures, paintings, home furniture and appliances, fashion, and accessories. It will be open to everyone and will be held at +973 ARTISANAT showroom in Juffair.
