Williams will be awarded the Excellence in Leadership award at Utah Valley University's Woodbury School of Business convocation ceremony on May 2. The award honors a national leader who is recognized within his or her chosen profession, and whose body of professional work represents an appropriate mentor and example for students in the Woodbury School of Business. Drawing upon his own experience of losing his son to a rare gastric cancer, Williams and his team have been instrumental in helping individuals across the globe learn how to move forward after suffering a failure or tragedy in life. Williams believes every individual can learn and move forward in life. The business leader has applied his unique brand of leadership skills and transformed a small, struggling software development group into an industry leader. Based in Orem, Fishbowl is the nation's leading provider of inventory management software for SMBs and asset tracking solution for larger enterprises.
