OnePlus One smartphone is sleek, fast, and really cheap [T-break Tech (Middle East)]


(T-break Tech (Middle East) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) OnePlus has finally unveiled its first hotly anticipated Android smartphone, the CyanogenMod-based OnePlus One. The phone is designed to be “timeless and comfortable”, with high-end specs and a price tag that will surely raise some eyebrows.



Measuring at 8.9m thick and 162g weight, the OnePlus One packs some serious fire-power: a 5.5-inch 1080p display with LTPS and Touch-On-Lens technology, 2.5Ghz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB DDR3 RAM, 4G LTE, a 13MP front camera with dual LED flash and 4K video capture capability, and a 5MP front-facing camera with 80-degree capture angle. The device will also support 802.11 b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, and GPS, with all of that powered by a massive 3100mAh battery.

The OnePlus One will run on a special Android 4.4 Kitkat-based CynaogenMod 11S operating system, which allow offer new features such as advanced Camera and Gallery apps, and better privacy options like SMS encryption and app control with Privacy Guard.


The OnePlusOne will be available for sale from April 25 through the company’s website. The device will be release in two versions; the 16GB for $299, and the 64GB for $350.
