Microsoft to sealNokia deal [Northern Echo (England)](Northern Echo (England) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) MICROSOFT will complete its deal to buy Nokia's mobile phone business on Friday, bosses have confirmed. The company says themove will expand the reach of its Windows Phone operating system. Brad Smith, Microsoft's executive vice-president of legal and corporate affairs, said: "This acquisition will help us accelerate innovation and market adoption forWindows phones." Mr Smith added Nokia employees in China will join Microsoft. Microsoft's line of Windows phones have struggled to match the market dominance of Apple and Samsung.
