Mocana Atlas Extended Enterprise Engine Sees Increase in Fortune- Class Early Adopters [Health & Beauty Close - Up]

(Health & Beauty Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Mocana reported that since the launch of its Atlas early adopter program in February, the company's Atlas extended enterprise engine has been enthusiastically received by a broad range of Fortune- class companies who have advanced straight into technical evaluation trials and co-development partnerships.

According to a release, among the high-profile companies and organizations participating in the first round of the Atlas early adopter program are a consumer products company, a top-five U.S. financial institution, a top-five global telecommunications provider and a government agency.

Mocana also announced the availability of version 3.0 of its Mobile App Protection (MAP) security solution, which is now tightly integrated into the Atlas appliance to create a complete end-to-end enterprise mobility platform. The integration of MAP 3.0 with the Atlas appliance enables enterprises to overcome the most difficult challenge they face when mobilizing enterprise applications by virtually eliminating deployment and configuration complexity, while significantly improving the end-user experience.

"We are overwhelmed by the positive response we have received from our initial market outreach, which reaffirms our strategy and vision for enterprise mobility and has resulted in the first round of early adopter recruitment being oversubscribed," said John Aisien, SVP of marketing and corporate development at Mocana. "This early success confirms that we have the right formula for addressing organizations' previously unmet demand for securely enabling the long tail of enterprise mobile applications at scale, across managed and unmanaged devices, while providing the user with the most consumer-friendly experience." According to Aisien, the knowledge Mocana has gained from the specific requirements of these early adopters is helping the company refine the functional and architectural scope required to make the Atlas platform even more widely applicable to the broader market.

Building on its Atlas adoption success, Mocana noted that it is issuing a second round of invitations for early adopters to become enterprise mobility leaders and help revolutionize traditional approaches to enterprise mobile application adoption within their industry.

Mocana secures everything from medical devices to defense electronics, from point-of-sale terminals to the smart grid to home automation. The company's Mobile Application Protection (MAP) offering, distributed globally by SAP, automates security for iOS and Android apps and authenticates mobile users, apps and devices to business systems.
