These IT applications include: (a) the installa tion of a local area network connecting the NIF headquarters in Luanda and the provincial offices and allowing the operation of applications in real time; (b) a document management software; (c) a business management software; (d) a database of audit files , standards, manuals, legislation, and other documentation; (e) a platform linking the main NIF systems (SIGFE, PMIS, SGTa, and others to be developed); (f) an Internet site for external outreach; and (g) a web access allowing remote data capture The services included under this project are to ensure transparent and efficient public finance management through capacity-building in order to promote robust and balanced economic growth. More specifically, the project aims to: (i) consolidate public finance reforms on State property management and the internal audit system; and (ii) build capacity for the external audit function. The main components of the project are: (i) Capacity- building in State property management and internal audit; (ii) Institutional and human capacity -building for the external audit function; and (iii) Project management and monitoring.
