One such initiative has been taken by Genus, a project for manufacturing power infrastructure items in Jaipur. The Director of Genus, Jitendra Agarwal has said that the company will provide, as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), one-day extra pay to their employees as an incentive to vote. The same offer had been given to the employees during the Vidhan Sabha elections in November last year. In the Lok Sabha elections the company is offering this incentive to its 3500 employees pan India, of whom they are expecting 70% to exercise their franchise.
