The new accelerator, VRX-6, allows storage professionals using a 300 Mbps WAN to accelerate their offsite data replication workloads up to 20x (on average) over any distance. No special networking expertise is required. The storage administrator downloads the desired VRX software from the Silver Peak marketplace, installs the software in the same locations as the source and target devices on the hypervisor of their choice, then redirects traffic to the VRX from the source and target storage devices with a few simple commands.
