COGNIZANT GETS BIGGEST PIE OF TECH SPEND IN Q1 2014(Indian Business Insight Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Information technology (IT) services major Cognizant got the highest wallet share of global IT spending dollars during Jan-Mar 2014 at 29 percent, followed by Computer Sciences Associates with 25 percent; Infosys, 20 percent; TCS, 18 percent and Wipro, 17 percent. Cognizant got the highest share as per a survey conducted by Citi Research of 260 chief information officers in US, Europe and Asia. The survey comes as positive news for the $86 billion Indian IT industry. |
