United States : BMC Software Adds New Executives to Power High-Growth Organizational Design [TendersInfo (India)]

These important new additions coincide with other major moves by BMC to drive new growth, innovation and value across the company s core product lines.



Paul Appleby joins BMC as executive vice president of worldwide sales and marketing. Appleby is a senior software sales leader with 20-plus years experience, most recently serving as executive vice president of global enterprise sales for Salesforce.com. Appleby previously led domestic and international sales for C3 LLC (a Tom Siebel company), Travelex PLC, Siebel Systems and SAP.

Bill Berutti joins the company as president of the Performance & Availability product line group. Berutti spent 17 years in leadership roles at PTC, rising to executive vice president. He contributed greatly to revenue growth and margin improvement across several businesses and established Service Lifecycle Management as PTC s long-term growth driver.


Robin Purohit joins BMC as president of the Service Support product line group, including the flagship Remedy and Remedyforce product portfolios. Purohit is an IT management industry veteran with 25 years experience leading software business development and product innovation at VERITAS and Mercury Interactive, which was acquired by HP. Most recently, he was CEO at cloud database company Clustrix.

All three executive appointments are effective in April 2014.
