KYOCERA to Start Supplying Smartphones to SAMART I-MOBILE for Sales in Thailand


(ENP Newswire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) ENP Newswire - 11 April 2014 Release date- 10042014 - Kyocera Corporation today announced that it will start supplying a new model of smartphone based on its DIGNO M toSamart I-Mobile - a major mobile phone sales company in Thailand.



While designed and manufactured by Kyocera, the phone will carry I-Mobile's high-tier 'IQX' brand and be called the I-Mobile IQX KEN. Sales are planned to begin in April.

Kyocera's DIGNO M Android smartphone was first launched by au in 2013 in Japan. The handset possesses a large 5-inch display screen and high-volume battery all in the lightest weight - at just 134 grams - with waterproof features. It also comes equipped with Kyocera's award-winning proprietary Smart Sonic Receiver sound technology. Moreover, a smooth, curved back that tapers off to edges with a slim profile of just 3mm this smartphone has an elegant design which in January was awarded the internationally renowned 'iF design award 2014.' Kyocera has focused its telecommunications equipment business mainly in Japan and the U.S., but is now aiming to expand globally, seeking to provide its high-quality handsets in a larger number of countries around the world.
