Germany : SES inks pact with ORBITCOM to provide broadband service [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) SES Broadband Services declared that it has partnered with German based Orbitcom to provide SES s Astra Connect satellite broadband service to homes in poor coverage areas. Orbitcom is planning to present six different Astra Connect service package options with prices depending on data volume to customers in under-served areas in Germany where current broadband speeds are 2Mbit/s or less. Astra Connect provides high-speed broadband across Europe using Ka-band capacity on SES s recently launched Astra 2E satellite.
