Acxiom Awards Diversity Scholarships to Nine College StudentsLITTLE ROCK, Ark. --(Business Wire)-- Acxiom® (NASDAQ: ACXM), an enterprise data, analytics and software-as-a-service company, has awarded its 2013 Diversity Scholarships to six new information technology students and renewed the scholarship for three recipients from 2012. The new recipients include: Kuldeep Dhole of San Jose University; Xiaoqin Fu and Oleysa Derkach of the University of Central Arkansas; Allwin Leo Prakash Lobo of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock; Fabrice Mizero of Philander Smith College and Thierry Kimenyi of Hendrix College. The renewed scholarships were awarded to Rachel Kirby and Clifford Tawiah of the University of Central Arkansas and Kaleigh Clary of Hendrix College. "To be recognized for my passion and dedication to my studies in information technology is such an honor," said Fabrice Mizero, senior at Philander Smith College. "The scholarship will go a long way towards my future goals. The Diversity Scholarship program provides a $5,000 award and one-year internship opportunity for students - women, minorities, veterans and individuals with disabilities - who are under-represented in the field of information technology. Recipients are selected based on their field of study, relevant areas of professional interest and academic achievement, which requires at least a 3.0 GPA.
