Tachodisc's New Software Allows Users To Go Paperless and Capture Driver's Signatures Digitally

(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) (PRWEB UK) 9 April 2014 This unique software innovation from the driver CPC training provider is transforming how operators manage their compliance requirements by giving them the ability to digitally capture driver signatures on infringement documentation via touch screen tablets and PCs.  Operators and transport managers have the responsibility of ensuring compliance procedures are in place, and this includes keeping all infringement records clear and transparent, and available for inspection.  A signature provides the easiest audit trail to verify that drivers hours law and tachograph laws are being observed by the driver and the company.

Guy Reynolds, Tachodisc's Technical Director said that this new system has been designed to improve the electronic audit trail and traceability of infringement documentation and help operators verify their compliance procedures.  He said: "By using our digital signature system, operators will be able to manage infringement records more efficiently, with all the documentation securely stored within Tachodisc's analysis software." "For ease of management the system also categorises all the documents based on their status and clearly highlights if further actions are required, thus further working to help operators track and proactively manage their compliance responsibilities." By default, Tachodisc's new digital system also reduces the administrative burden associated with managing reams of paper records, and saves money on printing and storage costs.

The digital signature will operate on all popular makes of touch screen tablets and PC's, and can be integrated into Tachodisc's analysis software as an optional module.
