This figure includes fixed wireless and mobile, DSL connections, and fibre, cable, and satellite connections. The climbing numbers of broadband subscribers has been matched by an increase in the overall number of subscriber connections, which is a measure of individual users at December 2013 there were 12,397,000 subscribers, up 2% in a year alone.
