CommerceWest Sponsors Natalie's Wish - Cystinosis Research Foundation
IRVINE, Calif. --(Business Wire)--
CommerceWest Bank sponsored Natalie's Wish - Cystinosis Research
Foundation for their most important, most inspiring, fundraising event
of the year. At the age of 12, Natalie's wish was - "to have my
disease go away forever." As a result, her parents founded the
Cystinosis Research Foundation. There is currently no cure for
cystinosis, a rare metabolic disease, but there is hope.
Ivo A. Tjan, CEO of CommerceWest Bank commented, "When you hear the
story of Natalie and her family, it is heartbreaking. A child should
never have to endure so much that their one wish on their Birthday is to
have their disease go away forever." He continued, "CommerceWest Bank
wanted to support Natalie and her wish to find a cure for not only
herself but for the other children that suffer from this rare disease.
It is our hope that by supporting such a great cause, they can find a
cure so these children can have better wishes and celebrate many more
Birthdays."
