Security Summit sponsor Cyberoam partners with Sizwe IT Group [ITWeb]

(ITWeb Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Network security solutions provider Cyberoam has entered into a partnership with Sizwe IT Group, a systems integrator and provider of ICT solutions in SA. In a statement, the companies say the South African security market is poised to grow at a forecasted annual growth rate of 7.6% over the next five years.

Also, businesses from key verticals have begun prioritising IT security budgets to secure headquarters, data centres and distributed branch networks. Growing uptake of cloud, virtualisation and rising inclination towards open networks and Internet-driven business models is resulting in higher demand for enterprise network/IT security.

Cyberoam and Sizwe IT Group together intend to seize emerging opportunities arising from this transition.

"Enterprises and growing businesses in the region realise that the evolving business landscape favours adaptive and well-protected businesses, and network security ties strongly with key business and technology priorities," says Adrian Anema, SA country manager at Cyberoam.

"Sizwe Group comes as the right partner to capture this momentum. With our combined wealth of ICT expertise and network security solutions, we shall empower South African enterprises to achieve transformation and derive true value for tech investments." The alliance with Sizwe IT Group aims to entrench Cyberoam's presence in the region's enterprise security market, which is experiencing growing need to secure evolving network infrastructure. Sizwe provides a broad range of solutions including infrastructure, networking, security, servers and storage to end-user solutions and computer consumables.

Sizwe also brings a full spectrum of services required by a modern enterprise – from physical networking and data centre services to desktop and even cloud-based services.

Sharing his thoughts on partnering with Cyberoam, Wimpie Jonck of Sizwe IT Group said: "Enterprise organisations are under the impact of a huge shift, which is led by ICT forces, and need to see security and performance of their networks as a business imperative. With Cyberoam, we see a leverage to successfully tap into rising prospects by enhancing our portfolio of ICT solutions with next-generation and proven enterprise security offerings. Cyberoam's steadfast post-sales support further adds to our strength, bringing our customers greater confidence and value." Cyberoam will participate in the 9th annual ITWeb Security Summit, which takes place from 27-29 May at the Sandton Convention Centre. In over 30 sessions presented in tracks for either senior business management or IT security professionals, information security professionals will examine the risks facing enterprise information systems today, and the strategies and technologies needed to counter them. This three-day event will also include a comprehensive expo. For more information, go to www.securitysummit.co.za (http://www.securitysummit.co.za). Join the conversation on Twitter at #itwebsec.
