Honest Tea Partners with National Park Foundation for Earth Month & Online #ParkYourThirst Campaign

BETHESDA, Md. --(Business Wire)--

Honest Tea, the nation's top-selling organic bottled tea company, is celebrating Earth Month this April by teaming up with the National Park Foundation, the official charity of America's national parks. The month-long online #ParkYourThirst sweepstakes encourages people to share their enthusiasm for being active in the great outdoors. Committed to supporting the National Park Foundation's mission, Honest Tea is donating $25,000 to help connect all Americans to their 401 national parks, protect this nation's treasured places, and inspire the next generation of park stewards.

"Earth Month is the perfect time to encourage people to take advantage of being outdoors and enjoy the trails and parks in their areas," says Honest Tea's co-founder and TeaEO Seth Goldman. "We think the National Park Foundation's work in the areas of conservation & preservation, education, and community engagement really parallels our belief in health, wellness, and sustainability."

"From diverse wildlife and iconic landscapes to vibrant culture and rich history, our National Park System has something for everyone," says Neil Mulholland, President and CEO of the National Park Foundation. "We are excited to partner with Honest Tea to invite people everywhere to get out and enjoy our national parks, and then share their experiences with us online."

From April 1-30, Honest Tea and the National Park Foundation are asking people to demonstrate hw they are staying active outdoors. People can share a 'selfie' on Facebook (News - Alert), Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #ParkYourThirst and including "@HonestTea" in the message. Photo submissions will be automatically entered in the sweepstakes for a chance to win one of 10 prizes of a month's supply of Honest Tea and an annual pass to the national parks. To help spread the message about supporting our national parks, Honest Tea and the National Park Foundation will host a Twitter (News - Alert) Party on April 10th with special guests to explore why people visit parks today and how we can ensure our parks are here for generations to come.
