It is now part of the update Google Mobile Services agreement, and comes with specific guidelines as to how the logo should look like. Following the rules is the only way manufacturers can be granted access to the Google Play Store. It is confirmed that the logo will now start appearing on new Android smartphones, including the recently announced HTC One M8 and the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5.
