MACOM Extends Leadership in Networking Applications with Integrated USB Receiver

M/A-COM Technology Solutions (News - Alert) Holdings Inc. ("MACOM"), a leading supplier of high performance RF, microwave, and millimeter wave products, today announced a new integrated USB receiver for point-to-point radios applications.

The MADC-010736 is an innovative integrated receiver solution for customers who need a high performance receiver in the 42GHz PtP radio band. This product has an impressive IIP3 of 6dBm (typical at IF=2GHz), as well as excellent noise figure, conversion gain and image rejection. The LNC has an integrated LO buffer, LO doubler, LNA, and balanced image reject mixer. Operating over the 42 GHz band, the device is packaged in a 6mm lead free laminate package that is RoHS compliant and compatible with reflow temperatures to 260 °C, allowing it to be assembled into the application using standard surface mount production lines.
