The first one suggests that WhatsApp might facilitate telcos/carries that don’t allow VoIP features such as FaceTime or BBM Voice that are currently blocked in the UAE. The last term tells us that in such scenarios, WhatsApp might calls to go through your carrier instead. This could also work in situations when you don’t have access to data. While we still don’t have a time frame on when WhatsApp will release the updated app with voice features other than later this year, the translations suggest that work is going at full speed and thus it won’t be surprising to see it sooner rather than later.
