(TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Invitation for Bid: Office automation system The Suwannee County Florida building inspections/permitting department is accepting proposals for a comprehensive Office Automation System. The system must consist of the following four main components. 1. Internet Based Application System 2. Automated Office Permitting System 3. Field Inspections System 4. Contractor License System The system must run on the Counties windows bases network and operating systems. With all data (with the exception of the initial online application data) being stored on the Counties servers. The data collected by the online application system must all be transferable to the Counties servers via a notification and import system. Internet Based Permit Application System. The Internet based permit application system should be customizable to the Counties specifications and should utilize the same data structure as the office based Permit System. All data captured by the online system should be transferable the Office Based Permit System by simple file down load and data import. The system should notify the building department when a new application has been completed and send all the necessary data as an attachment to an email that can then be imported into the Permit System. The online system must support user registration, sign-in, Permit Application data collection and Permit Status. Once the user registers with the system they should be able to use a user name and password to gain access to their application information and all necessary applicant data should automatically populate any new application. The user should be able to edit and change their default user information. Provisions should be provided for the user to lookup an application and check on the status of that application. The application system should reside on a dedicated web site that is owned by the county. The domain name and registration shall be in the counties name with annual renewal as part of a maintenance/support package. Automated Office Permitting System The heart of the system is the in-office permitting system. The system must have the ability to generate any type of permit. The system also must generate reports for accounting and permit status by utilizing a state of the art integrated SQL based reporting system. The permit system should be GIS based and allow for the display of any map based information about the permit. This can include: 1. Parcel Data (the system will automatically zoom and display parcel boundary information for any permit). 2. Zoning Information (display zoning boundaries and text). 3. Flood Information (using FEMA flood data). 4. Aerial Photos (must support Tiff world and Geo-tiff formats). 5. All existing permits and their location on the map. 6. Any utilities that have mapped. 7. Address Information. 8. Any additional data that is currently in the Counties GIS.
