Germany : IBASIS inks peering agreement with DEUTSCHE TELEKOM [TendersInfo (India)]


(TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) iBasis and International Carrier Sales & Solutions (ICSS) and Deutsche Telekom have signed an LTE Roaming peering agreement.

The new agreement will help to leverage the companies' current GRX peering agreement and company's IP eXchange (IPX). The mobile network operator (MNO) users of both companies will get the benefit from this peering agreement.

In advance, the global IPX ecosystem is raising as an increasing number of interconnected operators provide value to their propositions by utilizing IPX-enabled components. That also include ignaling/S6a, Data/S8 and VoLTE, to deliver a complete LTE Roaming solution.



The iBasis LTE Signaling eXchange (LSX) service help to add a single point of access to iBasis' live 4G (LTE) signaling network along with Diameter Routing Agents in key locations around the globe. iBasis also helps to provide a global LTE Roaming footprint through direct connections to many mobile operators' LTE networks and through peerings with other providers.
