Parasoft Service Virtualization Enhances the Simulation of Complex Database and Mainframe Transactions

Parasoft today announced that the latest release of its Service Virtualization introduces enhanced support for managing complex database and mainframe environments.

Large-scale systems have been traditionally difficult to manage in a test lab. Staged instances, when available, are difficult and time consuming to configure. Moreover, the cost to stage a large system like a mainframe or SAP (News - Alert) is significant. Parasoft's Service Virtualization solution creates a simulated test environment by emulating the transactions associated with these large systems. By simulating and configuring at the message layer, organizations are able to test earlier, faster and more completely.

• Redesigned Test Lab Management Interface: The redesigned interface further enhances the speed and ease with which users can understand complex test environments and provision the exact test environment needed to complete a specific task
