(Daily Messenger (Pakistan) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Former president Pervez Musharraf is not likely to appear in Special Court (SC) today in high treason case against him.
As per private TV channel the court has summoned Pervez Musharraf on March, 11 in connection with his indictment in this case.
Well placed sources said Musharraf would not appear in the court due to security threats in the aftermath of attack on district courts Islamabad.
The counsels for Pervez Musharraf will also file application in the court on security threats today. His counsels will meet Musharraf in AFIC to exchange views on the matter of his appearance in the court.
AFIC sources said health condition of former president is satisfactory and he is having breakfast, lunch and dinner as usual. He also takes light exercise daily and talks to his friends and relatives daily by telephone. However he has abandoned cigar smoking.
