Rep. Takano Introduces Bill to Report on Information Technology Used in VA Educational Benefits Administration

Mark Takano, D-Calif., has introduced legislation (H.R. 4147) to "direct the Chief Information Officer of the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Deputy Under Secretary of Veterans Affairs for Economic Opportunity to submit to the Committees on Veterans' Affairs of the Senate and House of representatives a report regarding the information technology of the Department that is used in administering the educational benefits administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs." The bill was introduced on March 4.



The legislation was referred to the House Veterans' Affairs Committee.
