AirSynergy LTE-A Small Cell Receives Telecoms.com Award [Health & Beauty Close - Up](Health & Beauty Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Airspan Networks Inc., a provider of 4G LTE small cell RAN solutions, won the Telecoms.com award for its LTE-Advanced Small Cell, AirSynergy. According to a release, the AirSynergy product family is a range of high performance LTE eNodeB small cells optimized for deployment in Heterogeneous Networks on non-traditional deployment locations (e.g. on lamp posts, utility poles, rooftops). AirSynergy eNodeB supports non-contiguous, single, dual or triple carrier operation with support for LTE-Advanced Release 10 carrier aggregation. AirSynergy is available in most 3GPP LTE bands and delivers end user services speeds of over 300 Mbit/s. AirSynergy also has Airspan's iBridge Small Cell Backhaul solution fully integrated to create a self-contained LTE access and backhaul Small Cell system that radically reduces a carrier's CAPEX and OPEX. At MWC 2014 in Barcelona Airspan is demonstrating AirSynergy 3000, which supports triple carrier LTE-A operation and Carrier Aggregation of 3 x 20 MHz. The demonstration can be seen at Airspan's stand J30 in Hall 6. This live demonstration shows the service experience possible from a multi-carrier TD-LTE small cells and the capacities of > 300Mbit/s that users can expect.
