MFU Hires Business Development Director(Targeted News Service Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) GREAT FALLS, Mont., Feb. 28 -- Montana Farmers Union issued the following news release: Montana Farmers Union (MFU) President Alan Merrill announced the hiring of Jay Buckley of Great Falls as Business Development Director to manage the rejuvenation of the Times Square Building, recently purchased by MFU. "Jay brings all the qualities needed to tackle the Times Square project," said Merrill. "He is a third generation Montanan, an active Montana Farmers Union member, and his business experience more than qualifies him to lead this effort." Following his retirement, Buckley arrived in Great Falls as a landowner interested in applying traditional farming methods that improve the health of the soil and are good for the environment. Buckley's world-wide experience includes managing multi-national businesses specializing in project management, training, quality improvement, customer service initiatives, and sales and marketing projects that were widely recognized as providing valuable business development, along with operations and technical resources with strategic vision. "I look forward to working with MFU on the Times Square project," said Buckley. "I envision an evolutionary process that includes assessing and integrating our efforts into the agricultural needs of the Golden Triangle while supporting the mission of Farmers Union."
