Avocent Assigned Patent(Targeted News Service Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) By Targeted News Service ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 28 -- Avocent, Huntsville, Ala., has been assigned a patent (8,660,194) developed by three co-inventors for a "video compression system [that] compresses video frames comprising pixels defined by n-bit color values."
