TITUS Announces Integration with McAfee Enterprise Security Manager

TITUS, a leading provider of security and compliance solutions for email and documents, today announced that their flagship classification products - TITUS Message Classification and TITUS Classification for Microsoft Office are officially McAfee (News - Alert) Compatible with McAfee Enterprise Security Manager.

McAfee Enterprise Security Manager integrates security intelligence with information management for enterprise situational awareness. The product connects real-time understanding of the world outside-threat data, reputation data, and vulnerability news-with a real-time understanding of the systems, data, and activities inside the enterprise.

By using TITUS Classification with McAfee Enterprise Security Manager, organizations will have the ability to enhance valuable risk analysis capabilities. While McAfee Enterprise Security Manager is monitoring what is happening on the network in real time, TITUS Classification provides context to activities occurring on the desktop and netwrk. For example, network administrators will be notified when email classifications are downgraded from "Internal Only" to "Public" and attempts are made to send to an external email address; or when Microsoft (News - Alert) Office files previously classified as "Secret" are downgraded to a lower-level classification.

With TITUS Classification for Microsoft Office, all Microsoft Office documents are classified before they can be saved, printed, or sent via email.
